Letters To a Pre-Scientist Volunteer Pen Pal, 2021 – Current
Letters to a Pre-Scientist connects students to STEM professionals through snail mail to broaden students ’ awareness of what STEM professionals look like and do at work and inspire all students to explore a future in STEM.
ColorMePhD is a free, all-ages coloring book that uses illustrations and descriptions written by scientists to communicate their research to a general audience. Each coloring page features a scientist or team of scientists, andexplains their recent research project or papers in words a non-scientist or aspiring scientist can understand.The ColorMePhD Volume 2: Women in STEMissuefeatures research performed and directed by female-identifying scientists and engineers.

GWIS’s mission is to build a global community that inspires, supports, recognizes, and empowers women in science. GWIS has been empowering women as individuals and as a community since 1921. For almost 100 years we have worked to advance the participation and recognition of women in scientific fields through grants, awards and fellowships.
Science on Tap Speaker, Fall 2021
Science on Tap is a way for scientists to communicate what they do to people who may not be familiar with seemingly complicated research topics.It provides an informal, relaxed and fun atmosphere for the Fort Collins and Colorado State University (CSU) communities to engage and discuss scientific research taking place at CSU.
Skype a Scientist Volunteer Scientist, 2021 – Current
Skype a Scientist has a database of thousands of scientists and helps them connect with classrooms, families, libraries, scout troops, and more all over the globe! We give students the opportunity to get to know a real scientist and get the answers to their questions straight from the source.
CSU Speaks Speaker, Spring 2022
CSU Speaks is an annual event that hosts Colorado State University (CSU) researchers at New Belgium Brewery. Researchers give a “TED Talk”-like presentation on their research in an easily accessible formatto the public.
